Junxn is a marketplace, not the vendor

Junxn introduces families to vendors and gives them one place to plan together. That is all it is. The agreement to photograph a wedding, to cook for four hundred people or to build a mandap is between the family and the vendor — not with us, and not through us.

• The contract is yours. A quote is an offer from that vendor. A booking is the two of you agreeing to it. Junxn records that agreement; it is not a party to it.
• The money is yours. Junxn takes no payments. Deposits, balances, refunds and cancellation terms are settled directly between you, on whatever terms you set.
• The work is theirs. We do not supervise, stand behind or guarantee any vendor's work, pricing, licensing, insurance or availability. We review a listing before it goes live so that families meet real businesses — that is a check on the listing, not a warranty of the service.
• Disputes are yours to settle. If something goes wrong between a family and a vendor, we will help where we can, but we cannot arbitrate it and we hold no money to refund.

Your account

You need an account to plan an event or to run a listing, and it is yours alone — do not share the link we email you. Give us real details: the name families see, the city you work in, and a number that reaches you if you want the WhatsApp updates. Junxn is for adults arranging events; if you are not old enough to enter into a contract where you live, do not sign up.

If you are planning an event

Your event is yours. You decide which family members help you plan it and which vendors you ask for quotes. Be straight with them about your date, your guest count and your budget — a quote is only as good as what it was quoted against — and tell a vendor when you have gone with somebody else.

What you upload into an event — photos, references, documents — stays yours. You give us permission to store it and to show it to the people you shared it with, which is what makes the workspace work, and nothing beyond that.

If you are listing a business

A listing is a public promise, so it has to be accurate. By publishing one you are telling us that:

• the business is real, is yours to represent, and does the work the listing describes;
• your starting price is a price you would honour, in the unit you gave it in — a plate is a plate and an hour is an hour;
• your service area, languages, communities and portfolio describe your own work, and every photo is one you have the right to publish;
• your calendar is kept honest, because families filter on it and a date you are not free on wastes both of you;
• you hold whatever licences, permits and insurance your work requires where you work.

Joining is free, and so is answering families and sending quotes. Junxn charges a vendor one flat fee per confirmed booking, set by category — never a percentage, never a subscription, never a charge for a lead. That fee is waived entirely through the launch period, and every waived fee is recorded so you can see it. Nothing about money is asked of you at signup.

Marking a booking as confirmed when it was not, to work a rating or a badge, and marking one as unconfirmed when it was, to sidestep the fee, are both grounds for removing a listing.

Reviews

A review on Junxn means one specific thing: a family who booked that vendor through Junxn, whose function has already happened, wrote it. There is no other way to leave one — not a form on the profile, not an import, not us. One booking, one review.

• Nobody can edit a review. Not the family who wrote it, not the vendor it is about, not Junxn. It is what was said at the time.
• We can hide one; we cannot rewrite it. A review that is abusive, is about something other than the work, or exposes somebody's private details can be hidden — with a reason, recorded and shown to the family who wrote it. Hiding a review does not undo the booking behind it.
• Do not buy, trade or stage them. Offering anything in exchange for a review, writing one about your own business, or booking your way to a rating will cost you the listing.
• Reviews carry no name. What is published is the rating, the words, the photos and the kind of event it was — never who wrote it.

Using Junxn well

The rules are the ones you would expect of anyone in the room:

• No listing a business that is not yours, and no impersonating a family, a vendor or Junxn.
• No harassment, threats, slurs or discrimination — in chat, in a listing, or in a review.
• No uploading anything you do not have the right to: someone else's photographs above all.
• No scraping the directory, no bulk-messaging vendors or families, and no using Junxn to advertise something else.
• No attempts to reach data that is not yours, and no probing the site for ways to.

Ending it

You can stop using Junxn whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account — the privacy page says exactly what that removes. A vendor who wants to go quiet can pause a listing rather than delete it, and come back to it later.

We can pause or remove a listing, or close an account, that breaks these terms — a fake listing, a bought review, abuse of somebody in a conversation. Where it is not urgent we will say why first. A listing families have already talked to and quoted from is paused rather than erased, so the conversations and bookings that happened around it stay intact for the people on the other side of them.

What we do not promise

Junxn is provided as it is. We work to keep it up and correct, but we do not promise that it is always available, that a vendor will answer, that a quote will be honoured, or that an event will go the way it was planned. To the extent the law allows, Junxn is not liable for the outcome of any booking made through it, and our responsibility is limited to the fees we have actually collected from you.

Where this is governed

Junxn operates from Texas, United States, and these terms are governed by Texas law, with any dispute heard in the state or federal courts sitting in Dallas County, Texas. Placeholder — the entity name, venue and any dispute-resolution terms are settled with counsel before launch.

Changes, and how to reach us

If these terms change we change this page and move the date at the top. If a change matters to you — anything about fees or reviews — we will tell you rather than leave you to notice.
